Tornadoes

Tornadoes are also called cyclones or twisters, but no matter what they are called, they are always dangerous. They are destructive whirlwinds. They develop out of storm clouds called cumulonimbus. They are hard to predict, but meteorologists are trying to figure out ahead of time to warn people. Because warnings come just minutes before the tornadoes pass through, not many people are prepared to deal with them.
